MaxRecall’s Import Processing Module provides the flexibility needed to import a large number of external documents and accompanying keyword data with minimal setup and configuration. It can be used as a conversion tool for large legacy system conversions or as way to import documents from third party scanning systems. Keyword information, file name, and location are mapped to the appropriate keywords in MaxRecall and the import scheduler is used to determine when the process executes. As the documents are imported, any links to other documents are automatically established. Once documents are imported, they are accessed like any other document in the MaxRecall system.
